We are celebrating Matariki at Wesley Primary. Matariki is the nine stars of the sisters, it represents the Maori new year. We made kites! First we got paper and cut it into a diamond, we got two long sticks and made a cross. We tied a string to it. The kites were used to celebrate. They fly it up in the bright blue sky,  it sends a message to our loved ones who have passed away. They fly up kites to talk with the Gods so that the people know what they want. It is a connection between Papatuanuku and Ranginui.

I was swimming. My home was beautiful and blue. The sea was bright like the sun.  The sea looked nice . weed area to eat, but I saw a jellyfish. When I approach the jellyfish I take a bite oh no! It was not a jellyfish, it was soft  and weird! There was a lot of rubbish and pollution on the ocean floor. The plastic bag trapped me! I can’t breathe well. So I went up to the surface to get out of the plastic bag. Luckily there was a guy who picked me up on his boat and helped me. He put me down slowly  finally I can breathe the guy that helped me came down with his crew to the ground and. Plucked up the rubbish and it was clean. Now there. Is air now all the fish are happy 

In the afternoon I wanted to go out of my house to hike, so I went inside of my house. I packed up some snacks and water. I hopped in my jeep and went to the jungle. I grabbed my bag and started walking I was so tired after walking for five hours. I heard an alarm, I was confused. I  did  not know what  was happening. It smelt stinky, dark as and I tasted burnt bacon. I looked up at the cloud and it was dark. At the side of my eyes was a big angry volcano. suddenly I stood still I was so scared. I got the courage to run.  the volcano  lava came down suddenly. I had butterflies and I felt weak. I heard people saying run for your life I was scared and my lungs were full of black dark poison ash. I heard a helicopter I looked up and a rope came down. I climbed up the rope and I survived. I was so happy.

On Monday Kea did an experiment about volcanoes. First they split us into groups. My group was Tes, Kahlia, Jirey and Lucas,. we got our tray for the experiment. my group went down to the sandpit when we got to the sandpit I picked up some sand, and went to the shed. we got a test tube and filled it up with water. Lucas went and put some red food colouring in the test tube we made a hole for the test tube for the test tube to fit. next we made a shape of a  mountain. we put the test tube in and Mel put baking soda and vinegarin and it worked to explode Foam was shooting out like scary lava we all shouted because it was cool but the smell was so bad!

The funniest part was the talent show All the group were funny  My group was  drumming group, it was fun on day  two because we got to go to the beach in Raglan. First,  they split my group in half . My partner was Genashua, it was fun but cold .When I fell down in the water it was cold like a fridge. After we headed back to camp. The food at camp was the best and delicious. When we arrived at camp it was like a forest and it looked scary It looked like a haunted house.

A guy named jack went to a haunted house with his friend named Ax. When Jack and Ax went in a car they started the car and went to the haunted house when they got to the house they pulled their flash lights and went in. When jack and ax went into the house a cold came to their body. Their hair went up when they went deep in the house! . When they went in the door shuted behind ! then jack was so scared he wanted to go but ax did not want to go jack was angry at ax so jack went out of the house and leave ax ax was angry at jack so he went up the streets to explore. at the side of his to eyes he saw a girl looking at him ax ran as fast as he can ax saw a car it was jack ax was happy to see jack so ax jump in the car and went to home so ax was explained  whet he saw at the the hunted house jack was scared when ax explained so  jack wanted to go back but ax did not want to go back  because he will see the girl but he want to show jack proof so he we but when thy got to the hunted house! they saw the girl at the window so they ran in the house and went upstairs when they got up. They saw no one until  when they went the girl was behind them the girl had a long heir a long drees ax and jack flashed the lights at her she jumped on jack ax screen he  woke up it was dream

I was sleeping and dreaming about food until a boom came. It was loud it sounded like a gun shot. I looked out the window and it was fireworks. It was my neighborhood where the house was smoking . When they lit up the fireworks it fly and exploded. It was colourful and nice.  I saw a dragon shape in  the fireworks boom! Boom! the colour was beautiful and it look like stars it smelt like a house on fire.

I was walking home when I saw a door on  a brick wall . It was a fancy door. when I got closer to the door it opened by itself .

I got so scared my sweat started dripping. I could feel breeze shivering over my face  when I ended up  in a forest when i walked around i saw a man and horses .When I got closer it was centaurs talking abut war with  an evil witch .

.I was scared so I took one steeped back but a stick was behind me .  The centaurs heard it thy got ready for battle they ran off to get ready . I jumped out of the bush and ran . There a man and a goat he got shocked that I was in his home, he was hiding behind the tree. I  said “it’s okay”  come out, he came out slowly . he was warred that there was going to to be a war with an evil witch! suddenly I woke up it was  just a dream .I heard my mum shouting to come dawn to eat. I was happy that it was not real.

One day I had a walk around the park when I was about to sit on the bench I saw $1000 on the bench just left there I  remember that it guilty too steal so I got the $ 1000 and searched for the right owner so I walked around the park I  went up  to this lady and asked her. you own this $1000 she said no. and said do you own $1000 . no so I went  up to this man and said do you own $1000 No he said so I went up to this other old man. do you own $1000 yes he said I was searching for that where did you find It was on the bench thank you it okay  bye.

Today I made a kite on Minecraft for story chat. I used diamond blocks to build my kite. I built it in the sky and made a string out of fence blocks.
